Away from the busy main street of Mount Maunganui, Heath St Café opened back in September 2017. Serving only a small selection of cooked breakfast, there are plenty of scrumptious offerings in the cabinet as well a diverse variety of beverages including Vietnamese coffee, turmeric latte, and smoothies. With plenty of off-street parking, this fresh and modern café is an ideal place to stop by for a quick brunch.
Clearly already a local favourite, Heath St Cafe was a finalist for Outstanding Cafe in the 2017 Bay Hospitality Awards.
Favourite Dish: Breakfast Bowl with buckwheat granola, raspberry chia, fresh fruit, yogurt and compote ($14)
Tips: Open till 2PM on Saturday and not opened on Sundays.
