Food: The all day menu is modern with plenty of different options. You can enjoy a healthy puffed quinoa muesli or a hearty truffle scramble which I ate with a side of avocado. If you’re here for lunch, choices like coffee rubbed cheeseburgers, chicken salads and beef short ribs will make decisions hard.
Coffee: L’affare coffee – The Auckland cafe is also a micro-roastery
Location and Parking: Located on Melrose Street, there are plenty of street parking but with the popularity of L’affare Melrose and nearby Little and Friday, finding a spot is difficult. I suggest parking at a paid carpark to minimise parking frustrations.
Price: Coffee around $4; smoothies $8; food between $10 – $25
Overall Dining Experience: We were given a table outside as all the ones inside were taken, but luckily after 15 minutes we scored a cosy table inside and away from the temperamental Auckland weather. Inside a warehouse-like building, it oozes with a cool industrial vibe with accents of wooden texture, steel trusses and forest green pleather banquettes. The food was top-notch and service was efficient and friendly.
