Food: Good selection of items on the menu. I ordered the ricotta hotcakes with vanilla poached apple, mascarpone and topped with a candy floss fluff. A guilty way to start the morning and it was oh-so-good. My dining companions ordered the open omelette with dry cured streaky bacon on toasted ciabatta and the free range eggs with a side of field mushrooms (not pictured).
Coffee: Serves Be Specialty coffee
Location and Parking: On Central Park Drive and two minutes off State Highway 1 (Henderson exit), Little Sister Cafe is perfect for West Aucklanders with convenient designated parking right outside the cafe.
Price: about $15 for breakfast and $4.5 for coffee
Overall Dining Experience: We got to the cafe early enough to grab a table because by 9:45AM, the place was buzzing. Service was quick, lively atmosphere and exceptional food. However, Little Sister Cafe’s popularity means that lingering around after your meal is frowned upon by the constant influx of patrons.
