Quick Fire Review
Food: A Louisiana seafood style crab shack where you will find some of the freshest and tastiest seafood in Singapore. With a clean plastic cover over our table, we ate straight off the table with our bare hands. I love eating seafood this way because it meant that no one was judging us as we devoured the food in a messy manner.
Must Try: The Sri Lankan crab which you can order either in their special combos or on its own and the spicy Cajun fries. I have heard great things about the flaming moonshine tiger prawns, which we didn’t get to try because we wanted to order too many dishes!
Environment and Service: It is a lively environment and I suggest you book ahead (which we did) as it was packed when we arrived. The service was alright, it took some effort to wave down a waiter, but once you have ordered, the food comes out quickly from the kitchen.
Price: For best value, opt for one of their Dancing Crab seafood combos. Other seafood items are sold by the gram and depending on the size of your crab, the price per crab will vary. We ordered an extra Sri Lankan crab which weighed about 1kg, so that was an extra $88 SGD. The sides and smaller snacks are much cheap, around $3 to $15 SGD.
