Teed Street Larder

Nothing quite like gossiping with the girls over brunch on a beautiful Saturday. Voted best cafe in New Market in Metro 2010, Teed Street Larder provides an up market menu as well as homemade baking on site. The quirky interior was what caught my eye the first time I went and I knew I just had to take the girls there!

They provide an appealing all day menu which includes delicious items such as valrhona chocolate pancakes, eggs benedict, white bean soup, a variety of salad and sandwiches made to order. It took us a while to decide on what to eat as everything seemed so yummy!

White bean and clam soup served with focaccia

Yoghurt hotcakes with butterscotch, mascarpone and crispy bacon

Salmon eggs benedict.

Omelette with proscuitto, vine tomato and buffalo mozzarella

Everything turned out great! My soup in particular was scrumptious but it could have had more clams. We enjoyed our food with delicious coffee and one of us even had room for homemade churro for dessert. For those of you that haven’t been, its worth giving a try. It’s open 7 days a week till 4:40pm and it’s convenient location is perfect for some shopping afterwards!
