35degree South

Spent this year’s Easter at Paihia, Bay of Islands. Managed to con my parents to go and enjoy some great food instead of just the regular fish and chips! Located at the Paihia wharf, this restaurant has a GIANT aquarium inside. However, we chose to sit on the balcony so we can see the sunset.

The meals were GIGANTIC! As we didnt expect the dishes to be so huge, we ended up ordering entrees to start. The food ranged from seafood chowder, green-lipped mussels, fish of the day, honey-bbq spare ribs and scotch fillet. Ended up not being able to finish the main.

Overall, the place is great! I recommend it to anyone wanting an awesome feast in Paihia.
